Mel Gibson Surfaces in The Beaver Poster

For months, we've wondered if The Beaver would even be released.
It's kind of a random film anyway, and since it stars Mel Gibson, well... we don't have to elaborate, but suffice it to say, he doesn't bring much positive PR anymore.
Anyway, the release of the poster below suggests it's actually coming out, and given Mel's outbursts of late, the Jodie Foster-directed dark comedy is quite fitting.

LEAVE IT TO THE BEAVER: At this point, Mel likely would ...

As the film's protagonist, Mel plays a mentally ill person who communicates with the world through an animal puppet. Not quite a lawyer or publicist, but close.

So, there you go. He may have been fired from The Hangover 2, but Mel's career isn't completely over yet. Even if Jodie's the only one who'll hire him now.

No word if Oksana Grigorieva plans on suing the puppet for support.

Lily Collins: Dating Taylor Lautner?

Lily Collins co-stars with Taylor Lautner in the upcoming film Abduction. This is an apt title for a movie in which the two appear, sources say... because Collins has stolen Taylor's heart!
Insiders tell Us Weekly that the pair has been quietly dating for about four months and that the 21-year old actress "plans on hanging out a lot" in Louisiana as Lautner films Breaking Dawn over the next couple months.

Witnessed on the set of Abduction say Collins had a boyfriend when the movie started shooting, but Lautner was "constantly flashing his shirtless six pack" and she fell for him. We can believe that. You've seen said pack, right?

"Lily told pals that she wasn't looking to fall in love, but soon realized she had strong romantic feelings," a source says, adding:

"Taylor was smitten from day one, but Lily let him know she was in a relationship with a stuntman who was working on a Steven Spielberg movie in New Mexico. When the boyfriend got suspicious because Lily didn't return calls promptly, he hopped a plane and turned up unannounced to confront her."

In the end, though, this guy was no match for Lautner's abs of steel. Few men would be.

There's no love lost between Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes.
The two have feuded over Eddie Cibrian ever since he cheated on the former with the latter. Will they finally get together and make peace?

During her chat with Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini and Julie Chen, Glanville said she thought she had "a great marriage" to Eddie Cibrian.
"My marriage - in my head - was not in trouble," she said.
That's why she was caught off guard by him boning Rimes, and why it's been hard to adjust to her two boys living with Rimes and Cibrian.
"I'm used to having my kids all the time," Brandi said. "Now it's part-time. I don't have a nanny. I don't have help. When they're gone, I'm alone."
What's worse, she added, "all my friends are married."
So she is usually left nursing wine alone. She said what used to be "one to two" glasses "is now 3-4." Next thing you know, she's busted for DUI.
But Glanville insisted, "I don't think I have a drinking problem. I just think I had a problem the other night when I made a bad choice to drive."
Hopefully she can put her problems with LeAnn in the past. Rimes, for her parts, says she has no regrets about her affair with Eddie Cibrian.

Julien Hug Death Devastates Bachelorette Cast

Former Bachelorette contestant Julien Hug was found dead yesterday. The star of the season he appeared on, Jillian Harris, is “completely heartbroken” over it.
“I am completely heartbroken for the Hug family. My whole heart goes out to them today as they mourn a precious life that ended far too soon,” Harris said.
“It’s very difficult to find the words to express my condolences.”

Julien Hug's death hit close to home for Jillian Harris.

Jillian Harris describes Hug’s death as “so so sad” and remembered him fondly. He received a rose the first night and spent some one-on-one time with her.
“I will always remember Julien’s gentle demeanor and kind heart, which will be sadly missed,” she said of the 35-year-old Californian, who had gone missing.
His fellow cast member and longtime friend, Kiptyn Locke, said “I knew him before the season. He was one of the most positive selfless people I knew.”
“Everyone who knew him loved him. He is a guy who really enjoyed life. He was a thrill seeker,” Kiptyn said. “He was a sky diver, he did tons of jumps.”
Kiptyn says he and girlfriend Tenley Molzahn were shaken.
“We were just saying how important it is to make sure you tell everyone in your life just how much you love them and how much they mean to you.”
It is unclear at this time what caused the death of Julien Hug, but our condolences go out to the family and friends of this special Bachelorette alum.

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey: We're Engaged!

After fours years of dating, Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey have announced their engagement. Said the pair in a statement:
"We're excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together."

Lachey rose to fame thanks to his first marriage, as he and Jessica Simpson chronicled their relationship in the kind of reality show that wasn't common place back in the day. They got divorced soon after it went off the air.

Minnillo is a former MTV VJ and aspiring actress. She guest-starred on CSI: NY last year alongside Kim Kardashian, an ex-girlfriend of her new fiance.

We wish these two all the best and have one piece of advice for the duo: a couple that does NOT film a reality show together stays together.

Michael Jackson Fans to Oprah: You Suck!

Some members of Michael Jackson's family have already criticized Oprah Winfrey for airing a special on molestation right before her interview with his kids.
Now a group of MJ fans are lashing out at O and her "purely coincidental" excuse for the broadcast schedule, saying they're "angry and disappointed."
A rep for the Official Michael Jackson Fans of Southern California bashed "Oprah’s need to reference child molestation shows" prior to MJ-related episodes.

Michael Jackson's family and fans have major beef with Oprah.

"Her tone seems to speak volumes,” the group added, a sentiment that's shared by Michael's brother Randy Jackson, among other friends and relatives.
Oprah says the scheduling was not intentional, but hasn't shuffled it, leaving MJ's fan group asking “How can something so obvious be a coincidence?"
Her interview with Michael Jackson's three children is scheduled to air next Monday, right after "200 Adult Men Who Were Molested Come Forward."

Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes: Engaged!

Eddie Cibrian is engaged to LeAnn Rimes. For real this time.
Though it didn't happen on Halloween, when rumors of their engagement surfaced in a little trick or treating stunt, but recently divorced actor indeed popped the question recently and the duo are in fact engaged, a source tells E! News.
Maybe that's why Brandi Glanville wants to make peace.

Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes are engaged! Congratulations, we think!

Glanville, who has two children with Cibrian, said earlier this week that she planned to meet with her sworn enemy pal-in-the-making next week.
Rimes, who was also married at the time (to Dean Sheremet) and Cibrian hooked up last year after co-starring in the TV movie Northern Lights.
They fought off rumors that they were an adulterous item for months until Cibrian filed for divorce and Rimes followed suit about a week later.
Rimes took quite a bit of heat for shedding her innocent star image, and apparently it's not easy to forgive (as LeAnn's Shape cover proved).
"You had two couples whose marriages didn't work who stumbled upon each other and fell in love," she said in an interview with ABC News.
"Nothing I'm going to say is going to change it," she says. "I do know that, and I have accepted that ... but I do know how much I love him."
She likely told Dean the same thing. Maybe this time it'll last.
