Celine Dion, Rene Angelil Welcome Twin Boys!

After a long and often heartbreaking journey, Celine Dion is finally a mom again – times two! The singer gave birth to twin boys on Saturday in Florida!
"Celine, René and their son René-Charles are thrilled," says her rep, adding that the babies weighed in at 5 lbs., 4 oz., and 5 lbs., 10 oz., respectively.
Dion's doctor, Ronald Ackerman, said at a press conference outside the hospital Friday evening that the delivery, done via C-section, went as expected.

Celine Dion and Rene Angelil are finally parents again.

The twins are healthy, says Dion's rep, but will nevertheless spend the next couple of days in an incubator because they were born prematurely. Celine was hospitalized as a precautionary measure last week, leading up to the birth.
"Celine is resting now and they plan to discuss what to name the boys when she wakes up," the rep adds, noting that their other son is thrilled. "René-Charles has been to the hospital to visit his brothers and is so excited they are here."

Katy Perry and Russell Brand: Married!

Russell Brand and Katy Perry tied the knot Saturday night in India.
The couple "were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Brand on Saturday, October 23," they said after marrying in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends and performed by a Christian minister and longtime friend of Katy's family.
We couldn't be happier for the two of them.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand exchanged wedding vows at a luxury resort, with the backdrop "the inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India."
In the days leading up to the nuptials (which you can follow this link to read all about), Brand and Perry have been pulling out all the stops for their guests.
It sounds like the result was a near-perfect event. Despite the lavishness of certain aspects of the wedding, Russell said it was all about keeping it simple.
"We just love each other and we want to get married in front of our friends and family and keep it very normal," said Brand earlier this month." It ain't about selling the pictures, it ain't about doing no pre-nup, it's just a normal thing."
"I'm trying to preserve it, to keep it beautiful," the Get Him to the Greek star said. "Love between two people is the most spectacular, yet ordinary thing in the world."
We're glad they found it with each other. Congratulations!

Dancing With The Stars Run-Downz

Yesterday, the fist episode of the 11th installment of Dancing With the Stars aired. It was a treat as always. This year’s cast is varied and a lot of fun. You’ve got “The Hoff,” “The Situation,” Brandy, Florence Henderson and Bristol Palin, to name a few.

Bristol Palin was supposed to have a special guest in the audience, her mom, the controversial Sarah Palin. However, she didn’t show up and perhaps Bristol was a bit bummed because she struggled a bit through her her performance. In fact, her score placed her in the bottom half of the contestants. Other performances of note included The Situation, Brandy, Hosselhoff and Jennifer Grey.
The Situation didn’t do well at all. Supposedly, between all of his other television appearances, he couldn’t squeeze in enough time for practice. He and his partner, Karina Snirnoff, only had a little less then a week to practice. The dancing duo were given a score of 15/30
The Hoff struggled as well. The actor and his partner bombed to “Sex Bomb.” He was also given a score of 15/30. Brandy, the R&B singer did quite well. She and her partner, who danced the Viennese Waltz scored 23/30. If the audience comes through in terms of voting, she is expected to go far in the competition.
Jennifer Gray, who is paired with Derek Hough, had the best outing of the night. Her and Hough’s waltz received the highest score of the night, 24/30.

Paris Hilton Asked To Leave Japan

Fresh off of her guilty plea for the possession of drugs, Paris Hilton experienced another set back. This one was connected to the first. Hilton was forced to end a business trip to Japan, before it even got underway.
Paris had traveled to the Eastern country via a private jet for a promotional tour but ended up having to cancel because of her recent guilty plea on drug charges. Japanese laws are extremely strict about letting people into their country guilty of drug charges.
If a person has any type of convictions, celebrity are not, they run the risk of being barred from the country. This is generally without exception (though not always). Mega-celebrities Paul McCartney and Diego Maradona have run into similar problems.
Paris initially traveled to Japan to promote two of her lines, one for fragrances and the other for clothing. After arriving, she was quickly detained at the airport and forced to stay overnight at a local hotel. She was forced to take questions from officials for at least 6 hours.
Upon heading back to the States without participating in her plan promotional responsibilities, Paris connected with her fans the same way that most celebs do nowadays, via twitter. She wrote, “Going home now. So disappointed to miss my fans in Asia. I promise to come back soon. I love you all! Love Paris xoxo.”

Are Demi and Ashton Having Problems?

If you have been to the grocery store lately, you have likely seen at least a few magazines with cover stories suggesting that the union between Ashton Kutcher and Demi is on the rocks, all because Ashton has supposedly strayed (repeatedly) from the beautiful but older Demi Moore, not once but twice.
No word from either star’s camp. However, if the allegations have any teeth, the public will likely hear about it sometime soon. On the otherhand, if these stories are made up, then the couple has the option of suing the magazine, which they would probably be inclined to do in order to put up an united front. If nothing goes down, it may be because the rumors may be true but let’s hope not.
Both of the women Ashton supposedly cheated on Demi with where 20 somethings and much closer to his age then Demi. Many people believe that this is evidence that the age difference between the pair has finally caught up with them. The truth, whatever it is, will eventually surface. We’ll just have to wait and see what the truth is.

Comic Actor Russell Brand’s VISA to be Revoked?

Comedian Russell Brand got into trouble after beating up a paparazzi who got too close to his fiancée Katy Perry. According to sources, Brand stopped the reporter from taking pictures up Perry’s skirt. The ruckus caused the actor/singer to spend a couple of hours in jail before he was finally released after paying a $20,000 bail.
The situation would not have turned out even more badly until Brand tweeted that he was thankful for some of the tips he got from chokey that made him an even better criminal.
Whether it may be because of his statement or his action towards the paparazzi, U.S. immigration officials decided to investigate on the situation which can cost Brand his VISA if the investigation turns badly.
According to a source from the US Citizen and Immigration Services, a charge of battery can cause anyone a case of aggravated felony. If this happens, Brand’s VISA can be revoked because any criminal conviction can lead to VISA revocation. In case this happens, Brand will be given deportation proceedings, blocking him access to the country and will never be allowed to return again.
Russell proposed to Perry in a romantic ceremony he has set-up at Taj Rambagh Palace hotel in India. The two shocked both close friends and fans about their planned wedding which will happen in months. Wonder where the wedding will happen if ever Brand’s VISA get revoked?

Katy Perry Gets Booted From Sesame Street

Katy Perry recently taped a segment for Sesame Street only to later have it rejected. The parents of toddlers and young children all over the United States banned together and got the singer’s guest appearnce on the show booted.
After the video showed up on Youtube, parents begin commenting on Perry’s costume. For many moms, it was a bit too much or actually two little. The top of her dress was a bit too revealing the neckline embarassingly plunging.
One person wrote “ “they’re gonna have to rename it cleavage avenue.” After thousands of comments and numerous complaints, Sesame Street decided to can the seg,emt. It wasn’t supposed to air until December 31st, so there is time to re-shoot the segment if both parties to desire to.
Hopefully, this time around, Sesame Street will pick more appropriate apparel. It doesn’t take much to dress up a guest on a children’s show in a t-shirt and jeans. Cover up! There is absolutley no need to wear a cleaving baring, mini dress on a television show aimed at toddlers. No reason at all!
It looks like it was a case of poor decision making all the way around. Hopefully, everyone will get it right next time.
